Victory Tournament Aug. 25 Results




Eighteen boats/anglers participated in the August 25, 2020 at Ray Hubbard for the Tuesday evening tournament with COVID restrictions and social distancing.

Winners:
1st place: Kyle Hay with 13.86lbs. $455 (Total win:$455+$100BB+$660SB=$555!)
2nd place: Chris Robinson/Nate Robinson with 12.12lbs. $200 (Total win:$200+$500 Prestige Ford Bonus=$700!)
3rd place: Adam Vesely/Taylor Gauntt with 11.87lbs. $150
4th place: Jeff Farrar/Keith Taylor with 9.92lbs. $100
5th place: Zach Watts/Cody Brunette with 9.10lbs. Owner Hook Package
Big Bass: Kyle Hay with 7.17lbs. $100
No one caught a Super Bass and the pot rolls over to next week!

Fishing Report from TPWD (Mar. 27)

GOOD. Water normal stain; 62 degrees; 0.13 feet below pool. White bass are good as the fish stage to spawn on mid flats mid lake 24-30 feet water and are relating to bottom more than suspended using slab jig combo. Birds have been working on occasion later in the morning and late afternoon. Reports of white bass being caught up the rivers using small road runners. Crappie are fair in shallow water 1-3 feet by the reeds and golf-coarse and are moving in and out of shallow water for spawning. Catfish have moved shallow on the north end of the lake 3-7 feet of water biting cut shad. Report by John Varner, John Varner's Guide Service.
