Fishing Report from TPWD (May 25)

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 70-72 degrees; 0.19 feet low. White bass are excellent on shallow flats in 3-5 feet of water using tail spinners and 3 artificials with a half ounce jig head. When the shallow bite ends, the bite transitions to the humps and ridges in 18-24 feet of water using a slab and jig combination. Crappie are good on brush tops in 15-21 feet of water using jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair on windy points using cut shad. Report by John Varner, John Varner's Guide Service.
